This seems like it belongs as a discussion or follow up on dev@fineract.

How many will review this ?

the messages between myself and Aira Jena, above?

assuming yes, I'm always welcome for more help & feedback, so feel free to bring it up on the dev list James. I may, if you don't. I originally proposed it at FINERACT-2171 and I mentioned the idea on the dev list as well. That didn't evolve but thanks to @Aira Jena we have something to test and we can hopefully enable archiving soon. There's a healthy discussion on the PR so far and please, yes, anyone who wants to chime in, the more eyes the better (especially if someone has strong experience/opinion in areas like using the Slack API from Java, generating Markdown, using GH actions).

also, here's the real kicker: The purpose of this work is to ensure Slack messages (in, e.g. #C028634A61L in this workspace) are a shared permanent public resource for anyone to use and benefit from. After we're done you'll be able to use a search engine to find a conversation without even logging in to slack

Absolutely yes . There could be better way to pull this, some enhancements post MVP.
